I got scared by the IV drip at the hallway in the very start of the game. Decided not to move forward. Maybe I'll come back to it! Seemed amazing from what little I got to see!
great game, just needs abit more time in the oven. here's what I would suggest adding into the game.
-Add more ambient sfx -Add more interactions with the monster -put a ever so slight shadow in front of the player with the sillhoute of the monster -whenever the player moves, there will be a random chance to trigger a footstep sound behind him -sliders to change certain settings (ChromaAB, FOV, Motion blur, resolution, etc) -fix the depth of field
Hello there, I found a bug in your game. At the start of the game after the short cutscene the player has to go forward and backwards for 2 or 3 times until more of the map is added/removed. If the player goes back to the start after it sees the light and goes back to the red light the map would be broken. The video should show you how to reproduce the bug.
I am so sad it took me forever to play this because WOW! What a ride this was. My first ever spooky game for YouTube in my one-off series was A Christmas Nightmare by this same developer, and this game is now one of the most recent videos as a part of a 3 Liminal Space video I wanted to do. Well done! This is the second game in my video if anyone wants to check it out! Gameplay starts at 6:25
The protagonist has vivid, almost too-real nightmares about hospital beds, seemingly unending hospital corridors (perhaps signifying past trauma or foreshadow), dreary office buildings and uncomfortable work chairs; and, the color red. I almost forgot to mention the silent, dark haired woman with no legs and scars all over her body who may or may not be following your every step...
Absolutely amazing, and really felt like a dream. The effects are a bit too strong for my taste, especially the depth of field, however, I do understand, that it makes the game more dream-like. I also loved the level design, really feels like you're disoriented, but still find the environment somehow familiar, like a good liminal space should be. One note: I've played it in browser, and got an error messages right after finishing the game.
Played this on my Channel's Series called 3 SCARY GAMES! It's the 3rd game I played in the video starting at 22:20!
I just want to start by saying I absolutely loved the Atmosphere/Setting, Visuals & Sound Design of this game! There is also nothing I love more when layout changes when you look away, its super freaky and effective. Not to mention my fear of mannequins... This game checked all my boxes! The only thing I could want was a longer game, but overall really enjoyed my experience!
I would also appreciate if you could give an opinion on our latest game. Game devs advice is precious because we know better what it takes to make something work. It's called "Backdoor Shifts"
Very trippy, the mechanic to change the reality whenever you turn is so well done, it was a really nice experience walking around in the ever changing halls. Thank you for making this! 2nd game.
It's been a long journey since "Is anyone there", which I still think is one of the best game jam projects and I was super fond of that game. Of course, this one is super different and I did enjoy my time with it.
What makes the game great is its unique environment, most of all the circular section where you go in one direction and honestly I tried to go the other side, surprisingly it worked, I was blown away. The atmosphere is dim and quite, just a white noise and not even the footsteps, which do seem like a true dream. Unfortunately, the ending kind of was a bit empty and not seeing the antagonist for the game made it a bit just like a dream - pointless. Nevertheless, the game's mechanics, the movement and sound design is superb, I just really needed that small maybe jump scare or at least a presence of danger.
I am glad this is currently in development, the reason why I specify my criticism over the game and would love to see the update version, full meat and bones, because it has a huge potential, better than it's alike "Backrooms", which is now its own genre of horror.
Good luck with the game, looking forward to full game.

Short and simple, but it somehow still hurt my brain. Great game! Really well done!
No.2 in this video.
a good horror without jumpscares, I love i
Short but not bad. Like how each time you turned around something would change like the entire corridor at certain times. Made a video on it.

Not too bad, didn't have much to do but over all good work :)
WAKED UP.
Thank you for making and have a good one.

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback, we're really excited about this project and our future plans for it.
We plan to add more locations, a more in-depth main story and some smaller environmental narratives.
