Hello, I played this game and I really enjoyed this, I wish there were more sound effects with this cause it would suit this very well, but aside that it was a great game, loved everything about it, good work :)
Pretty well done game! Really liked the graphics; it looked surreal and beautiful and really shone through when the player looks at the scene to see the flashlight light in the trees. It was really nice to see the sky and the surroundings; it was pretty breath taking! The sound of the radio as well was very grounding and was always there to remind the player of the situation as well as the task at hand and what they have to do.
I really loved how the subtitles moved with the hand; I thought that was pretty unique and not in many games. It was really cool and smooth and was even practical when it came to the choices and options the player has to choose!
The way the player directs the person in the woods was pretty cool as one could see the flashlight move across the place and also see the locations where they person was being led to! The map was super simple as well as easy to read and know where to point. The quick little backstory was great and I thought it really added to the overall game!
It was well done that the character was restricted to just the upper area of the watch tower; it added more emphasis on staying there and directing the person lost in the woods. The baggage you added to block the players from trying to get out I thought was a funny and cute way of stopping players do that!
Also I have to mention the binoculars. They were amazing! It was such a cool feature and again, they were so smooth to use and really cool to see the scenery in close up and the player even has zoom controls! I thought that was really cool and loved zooming in on the trees to find the torch-light of the lost person. I thought that the torch light of the person phy7sically moving in the woods was a really good detail and added so much more depth to the game as the player could see where it was and actually feel connected to the game and directing said person! The way that the trees blocked the body of the person and it was even mentioned in the radio part was a good touch!
The only things I would suggest on improving the game would be; adding scenic sounds. Adding tree or bird noises would really enhance the environment and make it that much more whole and enveloping! As good as the radio was to remind the player on what to do, it was sometimes way too powerful and having some sounds to remind the player of the scenic atmosphere around them would make the ambience just that much more interesting!
Another would be to give the person who is in the woods a personality and a backstory; Not sure if you voice acted them yourself or got someone to do it, (though I do realise how expensive it can be to get voice actors) it would be so much more interesting to talk to the person as they are walking through the woods and them talking about how they got there and just more about them and what kind of person they are and then slowly start turning things dark and sinister would make it that much more interesting and really make the players take interest in the game as they would be interested in getting to know more about the lost person in the woods and want to help him more that way. I did think you did a great job to portray that things were going wrong towards the end when they mention the character's name; it was pretty spooky and turned things sideways in a good and well done way!
One last thing would be to expand the story more. I was genuinely intrigued at the backstory of the missing woman and the decommissioned watch tower. And there was definitely something linking those two and what happens in the present day of the game and what the character experiences, maybe I missed something but I kind of felt like there wasn't much connection there but I thought it was really cool how things turned wrong towards the end and the voice of the lost person changed and became woman-like; becoming a small link to the missing woman. Understandable as you might not have had a lot of time to expand the story due to development time, but if you ever work on this game again, I would be super interested in the story you had/ have in mind for everything!
Though just want to say that the above is just my opinion and can be subjective and don't mean to make the game seem bad in any way at all. I think that your game was super fun to play and was really well done! It was smooth, looked and felt great and even giving the options felt fun to do as it gave players control and let them figure out what to do and everything! It was a really good game and congrats on making it! Good luck on other projects!
This is awesome. Thanks so much for the detailed feedback and sharing your thoughts on the game. While we don't plan on revisiting this project in particular, we will absolutely incorporate your advice into the next project we work on. :)
Grand!!! Truly intriguing and super creepy ending, which I still have no answer to. Fantastic Job Developer! For more of my review, check out the video.

Great game! Love the eerie feeling in the end when you realize what you've done...
Really liked the game I was really hoping that there would have been more but was still good
Great game. Some creepy sounds in the tower would have added some depth to the creepy. Loved it overall!

Moral of the story: No good deed goes unpunished. Very creepy game. Can't wait to see what you make next!
Made a video
Nice little game, reminds of another game called :DO YOU COPY? ( It is on gamejolt) and Firewatch!
